machined locs and comp retainers; then tune to suit on our in-house Dyno Dynamics 450 chassis

dynamometer using the latest EFI Live tuning software.

Done on a drive in drive out basis with everything done including

It is a 3" system but the 2.5" looks the same - just a bit thinner..

DOMINATOR HI-STALL

If your vehicle is an auto, it will most likely warrant the replacement

of the torque converter with a high stall unit.

We generally fit a 3000rpm lock-up unit with cam package B,

but have used the stock unit with satisfactory results on package A.

 

The advantages of the high stall is it softens the "hit" at gentle throttle,

especially useful on wet greasy roads; or when someone a little

timid needs to drive the car. It also allows the engine to return to idle

when in gear smoothly without stalling out.

 

It's primary advantage however, is the performance increase it delivers.

Vehicles with high-stalls will out accelerate a same spec vehicle with a factory stock converter.

The disadvantages being cost, a little worse fuel consumption around town compared

to a stock unit and a slightly revier engine at speeds under converter lock-up.

 

Vehicles fitted with a Hi-stall Dominator lock-up converter will still permit normal highway

cruising with engine rpm the same as the factory converter delivered.

The advantages far outweigh the slight disadvantages though.
